Her sugar-craft skills are just out of this world, the flowers which adorned our cake looked so lifelike and I am so pleased that we managed to save a few as a keepsake from our big day. Our wedding cake was one of my favourite surprises on the day and was a wonderful talking point amongst our guests. We chose lemon and elderflower for our cake flavour with one of the tiers being the most beautiful fruit cake covered with marzipan and icing for my marzipan-loving husband! I sat with Alpa and she sketched a few designs for us to choose from but I hadn’t appreciated how stunning the final result would be!
